Description:

Request to 1) approve a FY 2018-19 through FY 2021-22 contract, with the option to renew for two additional years, with California Forensic Medical Group (now “Wellpath”) in the amount of $6,763,491 annually (excluding any CPI increases) to provide Jail health care services, including a Jail Based Competency Treatment Program, 2) approve a resolution amending the Position Allocation List (PAL) in Fund Center (FC) 184 – Law Enforcement Health Care (LEHC) to delete 26.50 FTE and add 3.00 FTE for fiscal and administrative support, effective February 1, 2019, 3) approve a resolution amending the PAL in FC 136 – Sheriff’s Office to add 5.00 FTE correctional staff to expand health care services, and 4) authorize the Sheriff or his designee to amend or renew the contract for up to two additional years and agree to any rate change as specified in the contract.
