Letty Guzman-Sanchez
Letty G- Sanchez has been an advocate, educator, and care manager for issues relating to caregiving; aging; prevention of elder abuse physical disabilities; and mental health issues for the past 21 years. She has a degree in Rehabilitation Services and a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas Pan American. She has a certification as a Qualified Dementia Care Provider by the Dementia Care Professionals of America. In 2016 she completed the program Fundamentals in Gerontology from the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology. Letty has been part of the WellMed Charitable Foundation managing the Caregiver SOS since its creation in 2010.
She has been a frequent guest in radio and television programs educating and advocating for caregiving issues and has contributed articles in local publications. Since June 2019 she is the Regional Manager of Operations for the WellMed Charitable Foundation in the RGV with the task of expanding and managing the senior centers and well as Caregiver SOS programs; promoting social responsibility opportunities for WellMed employees.
