Police in Plano want to find a stolen vehicle that had a dog inside.

Police say a woman had driven the rental car to a pet store to get food for the 2-year-old Shih Tzu, and left the car running with the dog named "Prince" inside to keep it cool. When she came out a few minutes later, police say the car and the dog were gone.

Police say the car is a 2017 white Ford Focus 4 door with California license plates 7XIF200.

The dog had recently been groomed and was wearing a green t shirt with a red harness. Unfortunately the dog was not chipped and had no identifying tags on his collar.

There is a Crime Stoppers reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the thief.
