Plano seniors were back like they never left Monday morning at the grand reopening of the newly named Sam Johnson Recreation Center for Adults 50+ (SJC). Elfrieda Cole was among the hundreds of residents who toured the facility with ear-to-ear grins.
In the middle of her tour, between ooohs and ahhhs, Cole stopped to thank Susie Hergenrader, Plano Parks recreation services manager, for the renovation.
