Landscape and Horticultural Technology offers three great Associate in Applied Science degree opportunities.

Turf and Turfgrass Management prepares students for challenging careers in sports field management, golf course operations, and athletic field supervision. This is an ideal major for anyone involved in playing competitive sports as well as those who just love the game.

Landscape Management and Design meets the needs of those who want to excel in the design/build field as well as hobbyists who want to learn to improve their own landscapes. Students learn to identify plants as well as how to incorporate them into landscape designs. Additionally, students gain expertise in soil management, use of hardscape, pest management, and computer applications.

Agribusiness  is designed primarily for those with a love of horticulture who want to pursue a career in a supporting field including garden center management, greenhouse production, and equipment or material supply. It is a major ideally suited for those with a strong aptitude for business management who also love horticulture.

This department also features eight different career certificates which are designed primarily for career changers who already hold a degree or for those who want to accelerate their entry into a rewarding career. Each career certificate requires the completion of five to six courses, and most career certificates can be completed within twelve months.
