Thank you Great Charity Challenge!
The WPBLF's team placed 11th out of 34 teams!

Thank you to the Great Charity Challenge for a wonderful night on February 3rd.

We are so appreciative of the financial support received for Mandel Mobile. A huge thank you to our equestrian team at Louisburg Farms and to Portfolio Horses for sponsoring! Our team did exceptionally well and placed 11th out of 34 teams

representing Palm Beach County nonprofits, winning an amazing $45,000

to fund a teacher in the Mandel Mobile!

About
Mandel Mobile

These funds will support the Mandel Mobile which travels to communities in the north and south ends of the city, bringing connectivity and assistance to families in need. The minivan provides on-site broadband access as well as laptops.

The Mandel Mobile team also offers help with learning, providing area children and teens assistance and encouragement with their studies, along with nutritious snacks. With the Great Charity Challenge funding, a certified teacher can continue accompanying the van to assist students with homework.

About
the GCC

Founded in 2009, the Great Charity Challenge sponsored by Fidelity Investments® (GCC) came forward as a way to increase funding to local non-profits, following the 2008 economic crisis, at a time when donations were scarce.

Our community depends on our library. Our library depends on us.

The Mandel Public Library offers life-changing programs, services, and resources to children, teens, and adults in our community, all free of charge thanks to the financial support provided by the West Palm Beach Library Foundation.

When you support the Foundation, you make our community a better place to live, work, and play! Here’s how you can help.

During these most challenging times, the West Palm Beach Mandel Public Library has used technology and creativity to safely continue to provide needed services, resources, and programming to our community. The Library Foundation is proud to partner with and support these life enhancing programs.

Did You Know?

Begun as a tiny reading room in 1895, the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach has grown and evolved into a bustling, digital-era center serving citizens of all ages and interests with books, performances, classes, research, entertainment, technology, music and more. Public funds simply can’t cover it all. So, in 2000, our founders created the West Palm Beach Library Foundation to support the library’s continued success.
