Fostering stability, growth and self-sufficiency through supportive housing development and coordinated supportive services for homeless and disabled Veterans nationwide.

Goals

Solutions for Veterans is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation developing supportive housing and coordinating services to Veterans on select VA Medical Center campuses around the country. These housing projects are enabled through Enhanced Use Lease Agreements with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, which promotes private sector developed housing on its campuses to benefit its homeless, near homeless and disabled Veteran-served population.  Solutions for Veterans and a host of interested supporters collaborate to bring high quality, affordable housing and supportive services to Veterans at each of the Freedom’s Path locations. 

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Solutions for Veterans.  We will soon be completing another 28 units in Hines, Illinois in a third phase of supportive housing on that campus.  Your contributions allow us to provide the Vets with furnishings and a move-in packet of linens, toiletries, utensils and cookware to establish his or her new household.  All too slowly, but moving in the right direction, we are removing at least one sector of the population from the indignity of homelessness—our Veterans. 

I hope that through our efforts and those of many other committed organizations across this land that no Veteran will have to be homeless. 

For all Veterans who do not choose to live unsheltered, they will be afforded a decent and respectful place to live.  For that, we can all be thankful.
