The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 66 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of cases to 5,122, while the number of deaths remains at 111.
302,812 tests have been carried out in Luxembourg since the start of the outbreak, a rise of 10,101 since yesterday.
Out of the 5,122 confirmed cases, 908 are non-residents.
Luxembourg has so far recorded a total of 981 (+7) hospital recoveries, and currently has 764 (+14) active infections. Four people are currently in intensive care (+1), and 34 (-10) are in standard care.
The reproduction rate (Rt) is 1.31. The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) lies at 1.16, which is slightly higher than on Tuesday.
