From 4pm on Friday, anyone from Luxembourg who wishes to stay in Belgium for more than 48 hours will need to complete a form.

Quarantine and a screening test is mandatory for people who arrive into Belgium from a high-risk country, which will now include Luxembourg. Travel from Belgium to Luxembourg will also be restricted.

Speaking to "France Bleu Nord", Belgian foreign minister Philippe Goffin clarified that cross-border workers are not affected by this new classification, which is instead aimed at holiday-makers.

The new list was published by Service public fédéral on Wednesday.
