Hardman Farm Celebrates 150 years in 2020!
Hardman Farm is Georgia's newest state historic site. In just five short seasons we have grown to a 7 day operation employing 10 staff members. We have welcomed an amazing 1-mile A.D.A. paved riverside trail, grounds lighting project, functional smokehouse and wood burning stove during this time. Hardman Farm is GROWING and we thank YOU, our guests and stakeholders, in helping us succeed.

The 2020-2021 season is our special 150th Anniversary! Hardman Farm was established by Capt. James H. Nichols in 1870. In addition to our regular annual events, we have added many special 150th events throughout the celebration year! Visit our website or Facebook page to view details.
September Highlights
Gold Rush Quilt Guild - Show "OUR HERITAGE"

We are celebrating our heritage with the Gold Rush Quilt Guild in September. The show challenge was to make a quilt or small item using a pattern from 1870-1900 to celebrate the history of Hardman Farm. The quilter used modern or reproduction fabrics and the quilt could be any size. Hardman Farm visitors are voting on their favorite quilt. The show continues through Sunday, October 4.
