Wizard brain maze
A wizardly villain is among our midst, and we must do all we can to stop him.  I fear this challenge may be to great and you are not quite ready for it.  Never the less, you are all we have at the moment so we must try.

"That hideous beast Arachne has once again sent her spider minions to harass me. I task you with entering the spiderweb they have created and destroying it. It can only be permanently destroyed from the center of the web. To prove that you have the wisdom to reach the center of the spider's web, you must use the numbers you find along the correct path to open the next lock."

Hades's Challenge
When you enter Athena's code into the lock, you once again feel your body moving through air and space in a highly unnatural manner. When the chill of the wind dies down, you are still chilled. You look around and shudder. You have landed in the Underworld, home of Hades. Lying on the ground is a piece of parchment, with thick, dark red letters. You decide not to think too closely about what Hades used for ink.

"Cereberus, my three headed dog, will only allow you to pass if you both play with and feed each head. But the heads are picky. If you give the wrong colored toy or wrong food to one of the heads, all three will enjoy playing with and then eating YOU. Here is what I will tell you:

You have three balls: blue, green and red. You have three foods: bacon, hamburger, and peanut butter.

Head 1's favorite toy is a primary color.
The head that likes red also likes bacon.
Head 2 enjoys hamburger.
The green toy is not used by the middle head."

Section 15 of 27
Apollo's Challenge
With your heart in your throat, you step tentatively past Cerberus...and he doesn't even glance at you. You barely have a moment to relax when you feel the familiar whoooosh carrying you onwards. You are so glad to be away from the gloomy Underworld that at first it takes you a moment to figure out where you are. Everywhere you look is musical paraphernalia: instruments, sheet music, posters. You must be in the domain of Apollo who, in addition to being the sun god, is also god of music.  You are unsurprised to see a small box with a lock on it. This particular lock is a letter based lock. Next to it is a scroll that says, "Figure it out to keep moving. Everything you need is here, now Go To Town!"

Aphrodite's Challenge
A burst of music plays as you spin the dials on the lock to the correct code, and you are whisked to yet another new challenge. The sound of the sea and the smell of roses greet you as you open your eyes. The elegant furnishings and art make you suspect you are in the palace of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. Looking around you find her message, written in a beautifully curving script and tucked between bottles of perfume.

"Something has been stealing from me! Several of my possessions have been altered by this theft. You must determine what the problem is, which will allow you to solve the code and defeat my challenge. I will show you a picture of what I originally held, and what it has been so rudely changed into."

Section 18 of 27
Ares's Challenge
You whooosh from the soft and elegant palace of Aphrodite to a much more sparse and Spartan room. It doesn't take much thought to realize this must be the domain of Ares, god of war. Everywhere you look there are weapons, pointing in every direction. The wall is covered by a poster of warriors through the ages. There's no note, simply a box with a strange lock.  The lock has arrows pointing in each of the cardinal directions. After playing around with the lock for a few moments you realize that you will need to push the directional arrows in the right order to open the lock.

Hera's Challenge
While you are glad that you are away from all of those weapons, you can't relax when you realize that you have next appeared in Hera's room. The Queen of the gods is famous for her temper! You're a bit surprised, then, to realize that this room smells even better than Aphrodite's. You see four bouquets of flowers sitting on a table. Looking closer you can see that each vase of flowers rests on a trigger. Remove the right vase, and you've completed the puzzle. Remove the wrong vase, and ... well, it might be better if you don't find out.

Poseidon's Challenge
The next room you find yourself in is hardly a room at all - it's the top of a lighthouse. Glancing out the window, you can see only the ocean for miles around. In the office at the top of the lighthouse is a plain desk with a clock,  a chart, and small box with a toggle switch on it. You can move the toggle up, down, left and right.

Section 24 of 27
Zeus's challenge
You find yourself whooooshed onto a featureless plain. About 50 yards ahead of you is a large door. You take a step towards the door and a bolt of lightning crashes down into the middle of the plain - right between you and the door. Then another, and, after a pause, another. The pauses seem to be growing longer, which makes you relax a little, but then you notice a bull charging at your from the opposite direction. You will need to run across the plain to the door as soon as possible - without getting struck by lightning. You pay close attention to the lightning strikes, trying to calculate when it will be safe. You think it will take you about 30 seconds to run to the door.

You start to run, but the lightning crashes down, right in front of you. You startle back, your sandals a little singed. You check the pattern of the lightning again, looking to see if there's a relationship between a sequence of three of the numbers in a row.
Section 26 of 27
You're a bit wetter than you need be (you could have run after the 9th strike) but you made it!
You frantically open the (thankfully) unlocked door, just before the bull can gore you, the smell of ozone thick in the air. When you close the door your find yourself once again in the presence of Hermes.

"Excellent, my child! I knew you would be the perfect choice. You will henceforth become my champion on Earth!"
