Description

Sexual Assault and Harassment Symposium: Ending the Cycle of Silence Where You Live, Work, and Learn

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission will partner with DBHIDS, and First Person Arts to host a symposium addressing assault and harassment. The symposium will include a plenary with Jennifer Storm, Commonwealth of PA Victim Advocate, four workshops, and special guest speaker, Tarana Burke, Founder of the #MeToo movement - who will be the centerpiece of a discussion on ending the cycle of silence around sexual assault and harassment at 7 p.m.

The event will assist community members with courses of action to address sexual harassment and violence.

We are confident that it will promote a deeper understanding and healing for all in attendance.
