Please have the following things in mind and ready before you proceed:

1. This RFP is for workshops to be presented on Friday, February 21, 2020.

2. We encourage individuals who have never presenter before to complete this RFP and we will offer additional support for new presenters to help ensure that your presentation is as successful as possible. New presenters will be expected to participate in coaching/mentoring with the OAN New Presenter Mentoring Subcommittee.

3. OAN strongly encourages any presenter relevant to grades K-6 to have their workshops Ohio Approved. Our Ohio Approval Subcommittee can offer help if needed to get this approval.

4. Understand where your workshop fits in the Quality Guidelines for Afterschool Programs. You can view those guidelines at http://www.ohioafterschoolnetwork.org/wp-content/uploads/OAN-Quality-Guidelines-For-Afterschool-Programs.pdf

5. OAN has the mission of providing high-quality ESSA-aligned training for our field. We understand that not all aspects of ESSA alignment are possible in a single conference, but encourage you to review ESSA and consider how your workshop offers alignment with ESSA's components. 7. Lead presenters (1 per workshop) will be offered free admission to the conference on Friday, February 21.
