Balanced You mindfulness class schedule for winter 2021

Back by popular demand, Balanced You is partnering once again with Mindfulness Northwest to offer free mindfulness classes and workshops to King County employees.

Mindfulness is a practice that can support you in reducing stress at work and at home. Mindfulness techniques are especially useful now, as we continue to move through the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic. In alignment with social distancing recommendations, all in-person classes have temporarily shifted to live, virtual platforms.

Through the winter, we will continue classes for employees involved in the COVID-19 response, and have added new classes for all employees that will teach techniques such as how to be mindful when you only have a minute and how to meet anxiety with mindfulness.

Mindfulness Classes for employees involved in the COVID-19 response

These hour-long classes are designed specifically for any employees who are involved in the COVID-19 response. Once you click the link you will need to enter a password: ERkingcounty to proceed.

 Mindfulness classes for all King County employees

These classes are open to all employees. In order to make the training as widely accessible to King County employees as possible, we have expanded the types of classes we offer and now have classes on different topics. Each class is a one-time event.
