Learn from our experienced instructors wildlife identification, habits and habitats, regulations, safety, hunting strategies, equipment and game care. Attend this class to increase your success in the field.

Central Missouri Delta Waterfowl, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation, is hosting a youth waterfowl event on 10/25/19 and 10/26/19. Youth of all ages are invited to the waterfowl education event on Friday, 10/25/19. Participants will learn hunting and firearm safety, waterfowl identification, hunting regulations, waterfowl calling, decoy strategies, blind building, and local conservation area information. Participants will also shoot clay birds. Ammunition will be provided, and a limited number of shotguns will be available for loan. There is no limit on the number of participants for this portion of the event and dinner will be provided. A limited number of registered applicants will also be invited to participate in a duck hunt on the morning of Saturday, 10/26/19. The drawing for the hunting locations will be held at 5:00 am, so please arrive early for pre-registration. The hunt will conclude at 1:00 pm. Breakfast will be provided as hunters come in from the field. Participants are requested to provide their own shotguns and waders. A limited number of shotguns and waders will be available for loan. This event is free for all participants and is funded by contributions at Central Missouri Delta Waterfowl’s annual banquet.
