6. ELEMENT FRAMEWORK DISCUSSION

A. ELEMENT FRAMEWORK  Dyett & Bhatia will lead a workshop-style introduction of the Transportation Element Framework, Health & Equity Element Framework, and the Climate Change & Sustainability Element Framework.  The GPAC will provide feedback to Staff and the Consultant Team. No formal action will be taken on this item.

INFORMATION FOR COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Information Available:Documents related to the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) are available at www.cityofnapa.org; or by contacting the Planning Division at 1600 First St, Napa, CA 94559, or by telephone at (707) 257-9530. Any documents related to an agenda item, after distribution of the agenda packet, are available for public inspection at the Planning Division up to the meeting date.

Public Comment: Public comment provides an opportunity for members of the public to directly address the Commission on items of interest on the agenda. Each speaker's comments will be limited to three minutes and will comply with the rules of order for Commission meetings. Please turn off cell phones and pagers.

Administrative Reports: Only the GPAC may authorize public input for these items; however, the Committee may take action if the agenda description provides for it.

Meeting Dates: The GPAC meets as needed over the period of two years on Special Meeting dates noticed in accordance with the "Ralph M. Brown Act."

Governing Law: The GPAC conducts all meetings in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code Sections 54950, et seq.) and pursuant to the City's Rules of Order for City Established Boards, Commission and Committees (Policy Resolution 10).

City Policy to Facilitate Access to Public Meetings: The City of Napa offers it public programs, services and meetings in a manner that is reasonably accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. The City complies with all applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law, and does not discriminate against any person with a disability. Wheelchair access to the Council Chambers, and speaker's microphone, is available to all persons.
