Thursday's update from the government shows another 120 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Luxembourg, bringing the total to 1,453.
Luxembourg saw 234 new cases confirmed on Wednesday, 224 on Tuesday, and 77 on Monday. With today's new confirmed infections included, this week has seen a total of 650 cases since Monday this week - compared to a total of 798 from the start of the outbreak on 29 February up until this past Sunday.
We also saw the number of coronavirus-related deaths go up by one, for a total of nine. This is the first time since Saturday, when the number rose from five to eight, that we have seen an increase in the death count.
