A fake ticker update, in the font and style of RTL's website, is circulating on social media with the message that schools will remain closed until 2021, and that "the education ministry informed the public about the decision" on Monday.
They will not be, and are currently set to open on 4 May.
Our colleagues from RTL furthermore pointed out the minimal effort has put into creating the bogus claim, as the date next to the time is not even depicted on the real website's ticker.
