Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy specified earlier this Wednesday that the state has so far injected €30 million into small enterprises and paid €637.4 million to cover short-time working schemes.

Around 600 small enterprises requested the non-repayable €5,000 in state support. The ministry added that the €12,500 support packages for medium enterprises counting 10 to 20 employees are yet to be paid.

The Ministry of the Economy also explained that the state has so far paid €637.4 million to cover short-time working schemes. The largest part of this amount went to the construction sector, which benefited from €175.5 million in short-time working schemes as of 12 May.
