Live music can once more be enjoyed at the Philharmonie, all while respecting new sanitary measures in light of the corona pandemic.
The Philharmonie had to shut its doors on 12 March, but is now ready again to welcome performers and audiences alike.
Due to new safety regulations, the number of visitors will be limited. Tickets for shows will no longer be available at the door, but have to be ordered via email (tickets@philharmonie.lu) or phone (26 32 26 32), official sales beginning on Friday 12 June. Seat reservations will not be possible but allocated to fit a maximum number of people without neglecting safety distances. Four seats in a row can only be given to families and people living in the same household. Tickets will be sent in advance via post.
When entering the building, masks are mandatory, but not needed while enjoying a show. Events will no longer have breaks and the bar will stay closed throughout.
Here is a look at the current event schedule:
- 18 June: Luxembourgish Jazz trio Reis Demuth Wiltgen
- 25 June: concert for the 15th anniversary of the Philharmonie, lead by Gustavo Gimeno (also broadcast live)
- 2 July: duo Elena Baeva and Vadim Kholodenki
