The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 100 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of cases to 5,056, while the number of deaths remains at 111.
292,711 tests have been carried out in Luxembourg since the start of the outbreak, a rise of 11,280 since yesterday.
Out of the 5,056 confirmed cases, 908 are non-residents.
Luxembourg has so far recorded a total of 974 hospital recoveries, and currently has 750 (+88) active infections. Three people are currently in intensive care (-1), and 44 (+9) are in standard care. One of them is suspected to have Covid-19 but is still awaiting the rest result.
The reproduction rate (Rt) is 1.28. The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) lies at 1.08, which is slightly lower than on Monday.
