Order Amending the Order of the Secretary of the

Pennsylvania Department of Health Directing Individuals


to Stay at Home
On this day, March 30, 2020, I hereby amend my Order dated March 23, 2020, as
amended March 24, 25, 27, and 28, 2020, directing individuals in specified counties to
“Stay at Home.”

The first sentence of that amended Order is further amended to read:

To protect the public from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is necessary


that all individuals residing in the counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Berks, Bucks,
Butler, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Erie,
Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton,
Pike, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, Washington, Wayne, Westmoreland, and York to
stay at home or at their place of residence except as needed to access, support or
provide life-sustaining business, emergency or government services.

The first sentence following the sentence in the first paragraph that states,
“Therefore, on this day, March 23, 2020, under the authority granted to me by law, I
hereby order,” is amended to read:

All individuals residing in Allegheny County, Beaver County, Berks County,


Bucks County, Butler County, Carbon County, Centre County, Chester County,
Cumberland County, Dauphin County, Delaware County, Erie County,
Lackawanna County, Lancaster County, Lehigh County, Luzerne County, Monroe
County, Montgomery County, Northampton County, Pike County, Philadelphia
County, Schuylkill County, Washington County, Wayne County, Westmoreland
County and York County to stay at home except as needed to access, support or
provide life-sustaining business, emergency or government services.

Following the sentence that reads, “Enforcement of this Order will commence at
8:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2020,” the following sentence is added:

Except that enforcement of this Order with respect to Carbon, Cumberland,


Dauphin and Schuylkill counties will commence at 8:00 PM on March 30, 2020.

The last sentence of the amended Order is amended to read:

This Order shall take effect immediately and remain in full force and effect until
April 30, 2020.
The Order remains unchanged in every other respect.
