Description

Please join the Strategy, Evaluation, and Learning Team from Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) as we share results from the Best Starts for Kids (BSK) School Partnership Evaluation. This evaluation, conducted by PSESD, explores how equitable partnerships are developing between schools, districts, and community-based organizations (CBOs). The evaluation focused on schools with multiple investments from BSK, and how partnerships are developing across different strategy areas.

During the webinar, we will share highlights from Year 1 of the three-year evaluation, and will hear from district, school, and CBO partners who are working together in Mill Creek Middle School with the support of BSK. This panel will highlight collaboration between Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral To Services and Trauma-Informed and Restorative Practices at Mill Creek. Panelists will include:

  • Rudy Baca, Communities in Schools of Kent

  • Alan Barclay, Kent Youth and Family Services

  • Vaudery Brown, Mill Creek Middle School

  • Evan Elkin, Reclaiming Futures

  • Audrey Gallagher, Kent School District

  • LaTasha Jackson Rodriguez, Restore Assemble Produce

  • Apostle Jimmy James, Restore Assemble Produce

We look forward to seeing you there!
