Please join us for this event with Dr. Nancy Everhart, an internationally recognized leader in library science. Dr. Everhart will provide valuable information about working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr. Nancy Everhart is a professor at the iSchool at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Project A+ is her current research, funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, which focuses on making academic libraries more accessible to students on the autism spectrum. She has an extensive background in curriculum development, research, and teaching school librarians. Dr. Everhart is involved internationally having been awarded research fellowships in Germany and serving as an editor of School Libraries Worldwide. She is a former president of the American Association of School Librarians.
