Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Program

MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) Federal agency is responsible for the health and safety of all miners in the United States and territories. There are two courses offered through our program:

Part 46 covers the aggregate industry, including granite, sand, gravel, lime and cement operations.

Part 48 covers all underground coal, gold, and salt, mining and surface mining of bauxite, barite, graphite and other metal mining operations.

Depending on which class you take, your training qualifies you to work with mining operations across our nation and its associated territories for a twelve month period.  Refresher courses are regularly provided for those needing to renew their certifications.   All students that complete the classes will receive the appropriate training document that is recognized by the Federal Government in accordance with CFR 30 either Part 46 or Part 48.

We also offer First-Aid/CPR/AED training that meets or exceeds the requirement under CFR 30 Part 56.15001.
