About Us
The Sweetened Beverage Tax Community Advisory Board was established by the City Council (Ordinance 125324) to advise and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on programs and services supported by the tax revenue.
Who We Are
The composition of the Sweetened Beverage Tax Community Advisory Board is guided by the ordinance (125324). The Board consists of 11 members who are residents of the City of Seattle or work within the boundaries of the City of Seattle. Six members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Five members are appointed by the City Council.
