In 2016, the City of Cape Coral Parks and Recreation Master Plan was adopted by the City Council after a planning process that included extensive public engagement. The study identified the need for improvements to existing parks, additional neighborhood parks, water access, and community gathering spaces. .

In 2018, Cape Coral voters approved a $60 million expansion of the city’s parks and recreation amenities. The approved 15-year General Obligation (GO) Bond will fund major parks and recreation improvements throughout the city including improvements to existing parks, development of new parks and acquisition of parkland.

City staff and their consultant team are seeking public input to help identify community priorities for the development and/or re-development of community parks as part of the Parks GO Bond projects. Please take time to assist us in this effort. This survey is voluntary and will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be confidential and all responses are optional. This online survey does not represent a scientific measurement of the community's opinions; however, results will be reviewed by the consultant team to gauge the public's interests and priorities for community parks.

We greatly appreciate your time and effort to provide input in this project and for improving the quality of life in Cape Coral.

If you are interested in specific park(s), you can skip questions and provide input on only those that you would like.
