Michigan Community Service Commission

The Michigan Community Service Commission (MCSC) is offering grant funds for counties and regions to provide support for disaster recovery. This initiative will build comprehensive, statewide management of resources in times of disaster. Funding for this effort comes from the AmeriCorps the Agency.

The grants will be awarded to support short- and long-term recovery efforts that follow sound practices and implement a collaborative community planning process. Funds can be used for an approved online platform that consolidates all resident data, tracks needs, supports the case management process, connects resources to meet needs, manages donations management and recruits and supports volunteers .
