Over the past decade, there has been increased integration between many jurisdiction-level Vaccines for Children (VFC) and immunization information systems (IIS) programs. The relationship between these two important programs offers many potential benefits. The purpose of this survey is to determine current practices and future preferences for VFC program policies related to IIS and the impact those policies have on data quality and completeness. AIRA will use this survey data to develop a considerations document for CDC/NCIRD that will provide insight into how policies are being implemented by jurisdictions and offer suggestions for future policies to support VFC and IIS programs.
We request that you collaborate with staff from both the VFC and IIS programs to respond to this survey. A PDF of the survey questions was sent out via email to support discussion prior to online survey completion.
This survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete but may be shorter or longer depending on the number of related policies in your jurisdiction.
