The CA Meals for Kids mobile app helps you find, save, and share nearby California meal sites by searching on a variety of criteria.
Search results are displayed as pins on an intuitive map view as well as a sortable list view. You can save favorite sites for later as well as share your results with friends and family.
Selecting a site you're interested in will display site information collected by the California Department of Education that includes meal days and times as well as contact information for the local sponsor. You can view the feeding location and access driving directions directly from the app.

Awesome app and awesome service. Was very easy to use, found my location quickly and shows a picture of the location. Some of the locations stopped serving meals several months ago, so it would nice to filter that out but overall, very helpful.

Only because i couldn't leave no star review. Was a horrible app for me couldn't find any help closer than 600 miles!

Hello Adrianne - we're very sorry that you had some trouble with the app. Depending on what you're looking for there are thousands of meal sites across California that are available through the app. If you could email us at cdemobile@cde.ca.gov we can try to figure out why they weren't visible to you.

I respect and appreciate the intent and purpose of this app, but, so far reliable resource info on it is scarce and much available info is outdated
