• U.S. 23/U.S. 30 at the State Route 53, the passing lanes will close, and traffic shifted on Thursday, April 11 for approximately 90 days to replace the pavement. Then, the work will switch lanes.

⚠️IMPORTANT MESSAGE: On Monday, April 8, 2024, the total solar eclipse will occur. ODOT has worked with its contractors to reduce the size of work zones and open as many lanes as possible. DO NOT STOP ON THE HIGHWAY TO WATCH THE ECLIPSE. Plan ahead for longer travel times in areas within and near the path of totality. ODOT crews are fully staffed ahead of, during, and after the event to aid with traffic control. Roadway work is anticipated to resume back to normal the following day, Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
